Congratulations to BLK Box, from Newtownabbey, who were winner’s of one of the first King’s Award for Enterprise (KAE)that were announced today.
BLK Box won an award under the International Trade category. There award was published in the Gazette and can be viewed here.
The Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim, Mr David McCorkell, who is the KAE Lead for the Northern Irish Lord-Lieutenant’s has commented:
“I am delighted that BLK BOX have received this high honour, this award is particularly special as it is the first set of awards to be announced by HM The King, following the change in name from the Queen’s Awards.
We have been working hard to raise awareness of the award in Northern Ireland and I am delighted that BLK BOX are one of the three Northern Irish winners this year. I look forward to joining them for the presentation later this year.”
