Vice Lord-Lieutenant
Mrs Miranda Gordon, DL
Miranda was appointed as Vice Lord-Lieutenant in 2019. She has had an active role in the County for many years, having been appointed a Deputy Lieutenant in 2006 and serving as High Sheriff in 2017, following in the footsteps of her late father.
Her background is in education and training. She is Founder & Chairperson of the Early Years Specialist Consortium and a part time inspector of pre-schools for the Education and Training Inspectorate. She also runs a B&B business on the north coast.
Miranda supports various charities in different roles – such as Blythswood, A Save Space to Be Me, and Midtown Makers.
Miranda lives in Muckamore. She is married to Peter and has three adult children and two grandchildren.
